Kate Hinton - Leopard Tree

Kate Hinton has been an educator for 20 years with National and International experience. She has worked in schools as a classroom teacher, at an organisational level leading system-wide strategy, professional learning, and in school support.

Kate's current role as an Education Consultant is diverse in nature, as she centres her daily support for educators on her model of Workplace Vulnerability. This model has been created through story, with a clear purpose to build the capacity of others in their personal and professional growth with a focus on Neuroscience for Leadership. Kate is invested in the Wellness of the whole person, so that teacher overwhelm, stress and burnout can be mitigated.

Dr Tim Smith - Cognitive Architecture

A former physics teacher, Tim completed his doctoral research into Cognitive Acceleration in 2021. His study examined the far-transfer effects of Thinking Science (CASE), a program that he has taught, and promoted, for the last 20 years. Tim continues to advocate for the teaching of thinking as a research assistant and sessional lecturer at the University of Queensland, complementing his work as an independent education consultant.

Tim loves working with teachers and helping them find the true meaning in the learning experiences they create. His mission to see teachers valued for the superheroes they are.
